We Will Be Changed

Transfiguration Sunday musing

It is said we will be changed
in the twinkling of an Eye.
The Eye that twinkles
is the One Who sees All
through the Lens of Absolute Love.
Who created and re-members
the Glory beneath our gravity.
The Body of Light which peeks
through our pores when we open
to the Truth that we are More
than life’s hurts and happenings,
and choose courageously to offer
our light and warmth to a wounded world.

We will be changed
in the twinkling of an Eye
when we finally put aside
the lie that we are anything
less than Living Votives of Love.
When we set our portion of Christlight free
from the bondage of fear and false complexity,
and realize Our True Identity is found
in the Holy Grail of our life’s oblation~
on the Holy Ground of Love’s Transfiguration.
