The Rest of the Story

a quest for peace

I am not bothered
with the business of
this contrived world;
its selling and buying.

The trampling and trying
to be something or
someone of renown;
to drown in the sea of striving.

The Greater Sea of Humility, 
seeks only to carry us
 upon Her soft swells 
of Tender Love.

Here, we can surrender,
and are enough,
exactly as we are. 
Guided by our Homing Star,

to the Peace beyond 
all human glory. 
To the Reliable, the Real;
the Rest of the Story.

There's so much I could say here, that I can't seem to say anything! 
Maybe that's a gift of surrender and rest, so I am going to let it be.
