I wonder if we could step away from the artificial lights that call and captivate, might we turn more easily towards the Great Light within our souls and contemplate Goodness and Mercy? Might the artificial light be casting these monstrous shadows; rendering some seemingly soulless, while swallowing whole the tenderhearted? I wonder if we started reading instead the Good News of a rosy-hued dawn, and tuned into the natural color and light in the eyes of the other; might it be harder to endanger our sister and dismiss our our brother? If we could remember that Love is our Maker and Mercy, our Mother; might we withstand the fierce grip of greed and the trance of the never-ending newsfeed? I wonder if we might learn to dance in the Great Light until all our souls are freed?
I'm sorry to have missed posting on Tuesday. I was distracted by worldwide tumult and the weirdest job interview of my life. Prayers for all the things are much appreciated and absolutely reciprocated! May the Great Light gift you with all you need at this time, and always. ~ Cheryl Anne
Lovely, Cheryl Anne. I just finished a wonderful experience, participating in an album launch (vocals) called Anthropocene. This seems very appropriate.
… I want to hear about your interview … lol
