Rest in Love
Advent IV and Winter Solstice
What else can I do but trust the Light in the midst of the longest, darkest night? What else can I do but rest in Love as my dreams seek their end in Realms Above? What else can I do but nurture Hope though despair may seem to increase its scope? What else can I do but breathe and pray till the dawn of the longest, brightest day?
I had intended to post something for each Sunday in Advent, but last Sunday, the Sunday of Joy, I had the great joy of the company of my son, Jon-Kyle, who was visiting for a few days. This evening I am sharing a little piece from the archives. It’s been a busy weekend, without space for writing something new, but it is nice to revisit these words, and remember the Spirit in which they were written.
Ah…as I type this I can feel something stirring…so there might be another Solstice/Love related post coming soon. With some time off work for the holidays, I just might be able to gather energy for creativity, which has been sorely lacking since the bout of Covid in October.
I hope this stillpoint of the year allows you to likewise stop, settle, and rest in Love. ~Cheryl Anne

The promise… the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it 💖🙏✨🌹
Blessings on this Solstice, Cheryl Anne. So wonderful to share space with your Son. I’m going to spend Christmas with my Sister. <3
