Blessed are you, Fall's fair crimson blush. Blessed are you, Dawn's preambling hush. Blessed are you, Soft approaching light. Blessed are you, Song Thrush planning flight. Blessed are you, Gentle Morning, clear. Blessed am I, For the Being Here. ~Cheryl Anne Maris
It's a gift to suddenly be overtaken by awe and overcome with gratitude in the midst of a seemingly ordinary moment. To be reminded of Beauty and Wonder tirelessly pouring Themselves out, regardless of all of our inner and outer commotion. I was thankful to be pulled out of the commotion and into praise as I drove to work in the wee hours a few days ago. One beautiful burst of red along the road awakened me to the rest of the seasonal symphony playing all around me! Is there a moment of sudden awe and gratitude that you would like to share here? Please do! I would love to read your stories!
Watching two bald eagles flying over a lake we walk around almost daily and then yesterday and today seeing an alligator sunning itself on the bank. Beauty and awe along with the birdsong we hear daily.
