For love of Earth and All Her Living Things For love of Peace and Her soft fragile wings For love of Hope and the sweet song She sings I will stand I will act I will pray For love of Sky and All Sources of Light For love of Day and the Sun beaming bright For love of Dark and the Stars' dance at night I will reach I will bask I will sway For love of Sea and Her Mystery, deep For love of Waves and the rousing from sleep For love of This Shore where we wait and we weep I will dive I will rise Come what may.
I find that times of stress and difficulty contain inner lanterns which illuminate paths to What Is Most Essential. In following these paths, however tentatively, I arrive in the Sacred Grove of my own heart, to join hearts and link arms with the Beings I most deeply love and trust. I seek the company of Family and Dearest Friends; seen and unseen, human and more than human. Together, it is easier to believe that all is held within the Divine Embrace from which we cannot fall, as beloved Irish poet/philosopher John O'Donohue has taught. Together, we are not only embraced, but help to create that Divine Embrace; to welcome, love, and protect the vulnerable of All Kinds. During this profoundly unsettling moment in history, I am thankful for the timeless Wisdom of Earth, Sky, and Sea. I am thankful for the vastly inclusive Great Family of Love and Circle of Friends. I am thankful for the gentle glow of the lantern that helps me to return to the place where I am reminded that even with all the turbulence and terror, we can gather courage and choose virtues which cultivate Healing and Peace. How are you navigating this moment, Dear One? Do you have a lantern, or need a lantern? Do you have a prayer or a promise you can share? Deep Peace, Strength, and Courage to All, Cheryl Anne
Thank you Cheryl Anne for this today and for your many posts. I so often feel gently held and nurtured by your words. In some way, when things seem SO bleak - both personally and globally, the the pain and anxiety command an intentional Leaning In to Wisdom, Love and Trust in the One of which nothing can fall out of and all is held. What sometimes grounds and centers me is recalling the simple words of a childhood song, "He's got the whole world, in His Hands, He's got the whole wide world, in HIs hands, He's got the whole world, in His hands, He's got the whole world in His hands. ' He's got you and me sister... in His hands too.
And we are thankful for your presence and witness on this journey called life. Thank you for this invitation to go deeper into the cave of the heart 💖✨🌹🙏☘️
