I Am Easy as the sweet refrain of gentle rain unafraid of falling I Am Easy as the buds of spring opening as robins sing their happy love song calling I Am Easy as cool morning breeze and swaying trees light dew on grasses gleaming I Am Easy as slow summer days soft silky haze shot through with bright sun's beaming.
As I await the start date for my new job, I have been a wee bit sluggish, which is not my normal mode. In all fairness, given this rare time to simply breathe and be, my body understandably accepted that invitation. This morning, however, I woke up aware that things had shifted from rested to restless and I really needed to get moving! I got out of bed, splashed some water on my face, got dressed and headed out bright and early to explore my new neighborhood. So many colorful little miracles all around! Very much a morning person, I love being part of the joyful magic of the slow blooming of a new day. To quietly walk and breathe as Earth yawns and stretches and smiles Her first smile of the day, invites the Gift of Sacred Ease, hovering always just above us and all our complicated dramas; that She might settle upon us, dwell within us, and flow through us to calm and beautify our lives and our worlds ~ colorful little miracles that we actually are. Take it easy, my friends! ~ Cheryl Anne
What a restful poem! A breath of fresh air and a permission slip to slow down. I also love the descriptions of your new neighbourhood and the joys you are discovering there. Bless you, Cheryl Anne, for bringing hope and joy into my day with your words. 💜🌺
So glad you’ve moved into the neighborhood and I’m excited to hear about the new job. 🧡
