Blest

a little May frolic

Blest to open
Blest to slip
To gain The Way
And lose the grip
From cautious stride
To carefree skip
Into the Realm of Play

Blest to wander
Blest to roam
To seek the Wild
And there find Home
From morning glow
To evening gloam
 So strays the restless child

Blest to circle
Blest to sing
To dance inside
The Faerie Ring
From Brighter Lands
To wield and wing
And then again to hide

A playful pause in the midst of so much heaviness. 
Give your inner child a hug, and go gently.
