a moment of knowing

light breaks through

Now and then
I have a moment
of knowing
Where I am
and Where I am going
Light breaks through
cloud of sky and mind
and it seems
I may actually
find my way after all
For in moments
like these
I can see
that even wilting 
is but a sweet dripping of life
As ivy cascades 
down stone walls
like foam
of foliage waterfalls
the truth is
it is ever crawling upward
seeking the light 
Simultaneously
dying and growing
Knowing Where it is
and Where it is going.
