a little help

a wee observation

everyone needs 
a little help 
sometimes 
and some need 
a little help 
a lot of the time

it seems the world
often fails to consider 
the small
the weak
the slow

and so
it made my heart smile 
this morning 
to see a very small ladder 
propped against 
a very small tree 

that someone wee
might venture 
and climb
and rise above 

with just a little help 
with just a little love. 

Still adapting to the demands of a new job (taking care of seven wee humans), and having finally fully moved into a new wee abode, I enjoyed my first early morning walk in my new neighborhood. This was just one of the sights along the way that made me smile and feel a sense of gratitude and home. 
Wherever,  and whatever size you may be; may you be met with all the help and love that you need.
